This professional development workshop will provide participants with an opportunity to explore the four attributes of multimedia cases: Immersive, interactive, practical and experimental. The workshop will explore how to use these elements to create multimedia cases, and also how to select which of the four attributes to utilise in the design process. The two presenters will showcase some of their multimedia cases to cement the creation concepts covered during the course of the session. The session will have particular focus on how to improve students understanding and application of management concepts whilst at the same time providing a rich and engaging learning experience. Participants will be required to participate in small group work, and to share their experiences and learning points to the larger group. A question and answer session will also allow the participants to benefit from the experience of the two presenters in the crafting and delivery of multimedia based cases. |
