This PDW was created especially for members to feel “at home” in the OB division through expanding their network of scholars interested in similar areas of research. We designed the forum so that members can meet leading scholars in specific OB research topic areas, meet other members of the division, and discuss research with this group of scholars who share similar interests. The PDW will include three research discussions moderated by accomplished scholars who actively conduct research in that particular topic area. As a participant in the forum, members can self-select into three research themes of their choice. Research themes span a wide range of OB topics including positive leadership, negative leadership, motivation/engagement, stress/well-being, emotions/affect/attitudes, team composition/team diversity, team processes, creativity/innovation/proactivity, time/temporal dynamics, personality/individual differences, positive organizational scholarship, the dark side of OB, identity/identification, justice/trust, ethics, work- life interface, power/politics/social influence, ethics, and cross-cultural/international OB. We anticipate terrific research discussions and the facilitation of many meaningful connections in the OB division. *This session was previously titled the Research Networking Forum, and has been renamed to distinguish from other sessions and clarify its focus on research-related conversations and connections.
Pre-registration is required for this session. To register online, please visit The deadline to register online is August 1, 2018.
