The STR Division will sponsor the Dissertation Consortium during the pre- conference period of the 2018 Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management in Chicago. The consortium is intended for PhD candidates who will be on the job market during the 2018-2019 academic year (i.e., for jobs beginning in Fall 2019). The main focus of the 2018 Dissertation Consortium will be on providing participating students with an opportunity to discuss their job market papers in small groups with distinguished faculty and peers. Jiao Luo (Minnesota) and Ram Ranganathan (UT Austin) are the co- chairs for the 2018 Dissertation Consortium, and panelists include Russ Coff (Wisconsin), Andrew Delios (NUS), Sarah Kaplan (Toronto), Aija Leiponen (Cornell), Catie Magelssen (LBS), Lamar Pierce (WUSTL), David Sirmon (U Washington), and Jim Westphal (Michigan). We will be in the room listed from 8am- 1:30pm. After lunch, by 1:30pm, we will join the Doctoral Consortium for the second half of the day in the room where the Doctoral Consortium is being held.
