Junior faculty face significant challenges in the early stages of their careers, and one of these challenges is to publish their work in refereed academic journals. This challenge is particularly amplified among faculty in under-represented groups. Accordingly, a core goal of this session is to advance the careers of junior colleagues – especially those in under-represented groups – by helping them publish diversity research in refereed academic journals. This assistance will come from leading senior scholars in the field who will review manuscripts submitted by junior faculty in an open discussion, roundtable setting. Pre- registration is required for this session. Please contact the workshop organizer at raymond.trau@rmit.edu.au to obtain the approval code. Junior faculty who wish to have their manuscripts reviewed need to submit their manuscripts by June 1, 2018, in order to provide adequate time for the review process.
Pre-registration is required for this session. To register online, please visit https://secure.aom.org/PDWReg. Please contact the workshop organizer raymond.trau@rmit.edu.au to obtain the approval code. The deadline to register online is July 1, 2018.
