Now in its sixth year, the Junior Faculty Paper Development Workshop aims to provide junior scholars with the opportunity to receive developmental feedback on their current research projects. Specifically, it enables junior faculty who have papers in an advanced stage that they’re struggling with – papers that have been rejected by an A-level journal, for instance, or that have received contradictory reviews – to discuss these papers with experienced researchers and receive guidance on how, and whether, to proceed. The workshop will include a roundtable session, with each senior panelist sitting down with two junior researchers for an intensive discussion of their papers, followed by a general Q&A session addressing common questions and challenges faced by junior researchers. The workshop features a panel of distinguished senior scholars with expertise in a diverse range of topics and methods, to help provide junior researchers with relevant and insightful feedback. |
