This workshop introduces participants to how the science and technology of mindfulness and yoga improve lives from the inside out globally. Application and scholarship of mindfulness, meditation, and yoga-based practices have surged in recent years. The workshop introduces the “Inner Engineering” (IE), a protocol of yoga-based practices, designed by Sadhguru Jaggi Dasudev (2016), a yogic, mystic, NYT best selling author, and one of the top 50 most influential people in India. The workshop integrates a highly experiential format for participants to immerse themselves and experience the efficacy of this simple and yet transformational and sustainable approach to wellbeing and improving lives. Participants will learn and experience online meditation and yoga modules that were implemented as part of corporate wellness and work engagement program at a Fortunate 500 company - Yoga for Health, Success, Wellbeing, Peach, Joy, Inner Exploration, and Love. These modules are also featured at the UN International Day of Yoga, designated by over 170 UN countries in 2015. In 2016, Sadhguru and UN leaders discuss the role of yoga in meeting UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Speakers will present the physiological foundation, research findings, business case, application of management education and leadership development, and many areas of organizational behavior associated with IE. IE incorporates a set of comprehensive and scientific meditation and yoga modules that enable one’s mind, body, emotion, and energy work harmoniously as a whole to bring wellbeing and realize highest level of human potential. Participants will be asked to attend the workshop in its entirety and stow away their electronic devices during the workshop. Pre-registration is required. |
