At this experiential workshop – designed for everyone, from those who have very limited comfort with computers to those who love everything about technology – attendees will be provided a hands- on opportunity to practice a variety of easy-to-use technology tools that can help enhance the traditional (i.e., non-online) classroom experience. Participants will walk into a room set up with multiple computer stations, at which different technology websites and applications will be set up for immediate use. Next to each computer station, attendees will find pre-printed cards with instructions for the completion of various tasks that showcase each technology’s potential for deployment within a business school classroom. Over the course of the ensuing workshop time, a rotational system will be used to support attendees through different stations and tasks, such that participants leave with initial or enhanced fluency in technology for classroom use. |
