A workshop of two three-hour sessions for graduate students and faculty interested in improving their writing and for faculty who mentor junior scholars. The first session is directed to designing and writing journal articles. The second session teaches how to manage the writing process in the face of competition for time and attention from teaching and service activities and from other life activities. The workshop focuses on separating the writing process from the knowledge creation process, so as to make article-writing more efficient, effective, and meaningful. |
