While innovation is nothing new, its pace, scale, and impact has accelerated significantly. Sometimes, innovation enhances the value of existing products and services. At other times, it renders existing business models obsolete, leads providers to rethink who their customers are, customers to rethink what they value, and reconfigures value-networks. What does it mean to manage and lead in such a world of ongoing disruption? How can firms prepare for the demands that change like this creates? How should we re-tool our intellectual frameworks to deal with such ongoing disruption? This PDW will address these and other related questions by assembling an exemplary group of scholars to lead discussions with attendees. |
